At DevFestDC 2016, we were blown away by the community response we received. Our sponsors were key to making it so great! We are looking to make this year even better. Also, we are continuing event format with two days, Friday, May 5 and Saturday May 6, 2017. With 200 pre-sold tickets for this year’s event, and with over 720 attendees in 2015, we are certain that we can exceed our year’s goal of reaching at least 800+ attendees. This year, our theme will be on Artificial Intelligence. We will have more sessions on AI, Machine Learning and Deep Learning. The conference also will have sessions in Android Mobile, Cloud, Big Data, Wearables, Containers and the Internet of Things. Several sponsors from past Google Developer Group events have quoted that they have found some of their best candidates for open positions at our conference.

Personally, we find it exciting to be part of a vibrant and diverse technical scene in the Washington VA/DC/MD and helping that community grow. The typical attendees are developers, full-stack developers, architects, Mid-Level managers and CTOs from Enterprises and Startups ranging from Federal and Commercial.
