Pamela joined Capital One in January 2017 from OnDeck, a non-bank small business lender where she led technology including engineering, platform operations, cybersecurity, and corporate IT team all focused on building disruptive credit technology solutions for giving small business access to capital.

Prior to joining OnDeck, Pamela led Credit Underwriting and Global Credit Technology for PayPal, Inc. where she led everything from the growth and scale of their consumer credit systems, to their expansion into the European Union. Pamela joined PayPal through its acquisition of Bill Me Later, Inc. where she built many of the company’s original consumer credit, lending, and payments systems. Pamela co-founded eBay Women in Technology (eWIT) in Maryland, OnDeck Women In Tech, and is a contributing member of Grace Hopper Celebrations of Women in Computing. She holds a B.A. from the University of Hawaii, an M.S. in Information Systems from Johns Hopkins University, and an M.B.A. from Loyola University.
